Samsung Galaxy S8, the smartphone the Note 7 should have been!

Samsung, the world’s best smartphone manufacturer as we know, has been making devices for everyone, be it a budget oriented customer or a mid-ranger, if you want to go and shed a little more, then you can definitely go for the Samsung Galaxy S7, which by the way can be termed as the best Android smartphone till date. Well, Samsung thought of making another exception by launching the Note 7 after a few months, which is some serious business now. It is so serious business now that Samsung had to stop the production of the amazing Galaxy Note 7 after they started to explode. Well, it is not the end of the world for Samsung and to show that they will not just sit around thinking about the failure, they have actually prepared to wow us all by the next launch from their stable. It’s the Samsung Galaxy S8.

Samsung Galaxy S8 is the thing that Note 7 should have been but don’t worry as they will launch the S8 sooner than expected so that they can recover some of the losses. Looking at the specs sheet of the Galaxy S8, it might even be possible for them to actually post a profit in their balance sheet. Let’s have a look at it.

The first thing that we would expect about the S8 is its amazing AMOLED display. Samsung will make two variants, in which one with a smaller 5-inch model will feature a Quad HD AMOLED display (2160p) and the other one with 5.5-inch display will employ an Ultra HD 4K resolution display which will be the first time ever when Samsung will use a 4K display in a smartphone. In fact, it will be the first time ever when a smartphone gets a 4K AMOLED display. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium flaunted a 4K IPS display instead.

If you are all about the power then you might already know that S devices are never short of raw power. This time, Samsung has made no exception as they will be using the next generation of the Snapdragon processors, called the Snapdragon 830 SoC which will be the first Qualcomm processor to run on 10 cores. The bigger S8 will run on the Samsung-made Exynos 8890 SoC that turns out to be even faster than the Snapdragon 830. The 5-inch S8 will boast a 6 GB RAM whereas the RAM expands to 8 GB in the 5.5-inch S8.

Camera is the USP of Samsung devices as when we talk of Android devices, we get the image of customization but we don’t think of great cameras but Samsung have always made an exception and this time, S8 will have a 20 MP camera with capability to record 4K videos just like S7, but the difference will be that it can record it at 60 FPs compared to the 30 FPS in the S7.

And there would be much more in the phone itself, and until it is launched we would like to see what are your views or thoughts about this new Samsung Galaxy S8. Do share it in the comments below.
