Apple Watch 3 May Support A Round Dial

The Apple Watch 2 came out in September of 2016. It’s already been months and time for the next Watch to be launched. As per reports, the device will be bringing in a number of new and advanced features which will be a healthy step forward. There are several speculations already plaguing the internet surrounding the Watch 3 and in this post, we are going to discuss those. And also there is a possibility that the watch will sport a round dial instead of the square one that it traditionally supports.

Apple has launched three Apple Watches, the first generation came out in the year 2015 and two more watches – Apple Watch Series 1 and Apple Watch Series 2 – followed soon after. Upon their launches, the smartwatches became best-selling wearable devices after having to deliver 4.2 million units in the second quarter of 2015. The Apple Watch 3 is today the most awaited smartwatch of this year and fans can’t wait to get their hands on the device.

Speaking on when the Watch 3 will be rolling out, we need to look at the launch pattern of the previous devices. Because the Apple Watch 2 was launched in Apple’s September event in the year 2016, we are expecting the Apple Watch 3 to roll out in Apple September event of the year 2017. It’s possible that we’d get to see some straps for the device before its launch and get an idea of the device. It’s worth mentioning here that there are rumors that the device could be pushed back to 2018. The reason being the fact that 2018 is will mark the 10th anniversary for Apple’s iPhone, and as per reports the iPhone 8 will be one monster of a smartphone.

As for the device’s features and specifications, the Watch 3 will most likely sport a micro-LED display, and the size of the screen is expected to be 1.65-inch. There are also rumors that the device could be supporting OLED display, a technology that Apple is apparently bringing to its next iPhone. The resolution is likely to remain at 390 x 312 pixels.

The device will be coming with a platinum or Liquidmetal case and a smart band. Moreover, there is a chance that the Watch 3 would come with a round dial because a number of companies like HUAWEI have already seen significant praise for its design. A round dial call sin minds a traditional feel, besides round dials, are classical in nature. Whether or not the device will actually sport round dial is up for speculation until Apple and unless Apple confirms something.

One more significant feature that the Apple Watch 3 could be coming with is a front-camera specifically made for FaceTime calls. If this comes out to be true, then the smartwatch will have to have an incredibly powerful battery. The current battery in the current model lasts for a solid two days after being properly used. The Watch 3 needs to be backed by an even powerful battery. It’ll likely be powered by the watchOS 4 or watchOS 5. As far as we can make out, Apple Watch 3 will look very promising.
